On the way to Africa

I head out today for a week in Liberia.  This is my second time in Africa and I am looking forward to this trip.  I will be traveling with several CLC colleagues to help make some decisions about restarting the CLC ministry in Monrovia.    Our bookstore had to close in 1996 after being looted and destroyed for the second time due to the ongoing civil war. In faith, we “temporarily suspended operations”.  After much prayer and the generosity of God’s people we are hopeful that we can get open again in 2012.

Look for many pictures and some blog posts about the trip when I return.

Heather & I are in Senegal now. The political situation is a little unsettled because the national election is on Sunday, but we are thoroughly enjoying our time here.
